The Solution

I built a wireframe from a 6 column grid - this allowed for plenty of versatility, but kept the structure rigid enough that it couldn’t become overcomplicated.

After noting the needs of the marketing and product teams, I was able to begin building templates into the grid to allow the design team to drag and drop sections from a library of smart objects as necessary.

I created a master sheet to help aid the marketing team with their briefing process; giving them visibility on all the options available for building out their content.
